Abstract
Pleomophic adenomas(Benign mixed tumors) are histologically the most common benign tumors of the salivary glands. Characteristically, the epithelial & the myoepithelial elements are mixed. Malignant transformation, metastasis, or postoperative recurrence may rarely occur.
The authors experienced a case of a huge pleomorphic adenoma of the parapharyngeal space arising in the deep lobe of the left parotid gland accompanying with severe swelling & medial displacement of the left soft palate & tonsil, which was completely removed with intra-oral approach.
